When a surfboard is created, at the end of the process it has a layer of resin poured over the board to finish it.  The entire process of adding fiberglass and resin to a surface is called glassing. Some of the resin always flows off the board and onto the floor. This overflow of resin builds up over time into a thick layers with countless different colors and textures.  Like Fordite this material can be cut and shaped into different forms.
